My 45 years of geomatics experience comprises; 17 years of field operations, 11 years in management positions, and 18 years as a technical consultant and instructor. Employment has been; nine in military survey (1976-1985), five in commercial surveying, twenty-nine in the petroleum industry, and now two in academia. On 30 November 2020, I graduated from University of Glasgow with MSc (Distinction) in Geospatial and Mapping Sciences. On 1 December 2020, I joined the teaching staff with an opportunity to give back to our profession and easy into retirement. I have published forty-two times in journals and at conferences. My geomatics experience is broad and deep covering land and marine. I am considered a subject matter expert in international boundary delimitation.
