About the Event
This talk will be given by Mr Scott Leadbetter, on Mon 15 Nov 2021 starting at 18.00hrs and consist of a 40min presentation, followed by a 20min Question & Answer (Q&A) session.
Scott graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2018 having studied Geography. During his studies he developed an interest in GIS, particularly through a Remote Sensing of the Cryosphere module. His final year dissertation revolved around GIS analysis of crime data and was produced in collaboration with the West Midlands Police. He had the privilege of presenting his findings at the 2018 Crime, Justice and Policing Conference. Subsequently, Scott has been employed by DEFRA, and then the MoD as a geospatial analyst. He spent a couple of years based in Cambridgeshire with the Scene Visualisation team, focusing on 3D modelling of locations, before moving to the Defence Geographic Centre (DGC) at Feltham as part of the foundation imagery and elevation data team.
The presentation will begin prompt at 18.00hrs and will be recorded, so that it can be posted at a later date onto the DSA website.

Microphones and Webcams are asked to be switched off for the period of the presentation, with microphones only switched back on when called to ask a question in the Q&A.
