In its latest blog, the Geospatial Commission discusses how geospatial data is used for a wide range of activities and how it can impact on our lives. The blog sets out to explain the work the UK Government is doing to transform the UK's geospatial data, ensure that it is of the best quality and is accessible to those that need it. It discusses how data is empowering us and transforming the way we interact and lead our lives.

The blog sets out how the 'Geo 6', consisting of the UK Hydrographic Office, Ordnance Survey, British Geological Survey, Coal Authority, HM Land Registry and the Valuation Office, has delivered a number of key packages under a project titled ‘Data Discoverability 2'.
