Commemorations are taking place in the UK and the Falkland Islands to mark the anniversary of the Falklands War, which broke out on 2 April 40 years ago. The DSA has created a set of posters to commemorate Military Survey's contribution to Op Corporate. These posters are now available on-line on the DSA Website under the Falkland Islands tab.
The Project Group has created an informative commemorative display with excellent support from the Defence Geographic Centre and the Hydrographic Office.
These posters will be on display at the DSA's Annual Seminar on the 17th June at the Arlington Arts Centre, Newbury. The Seminar takes place just 3 days after the 40th anniversary of the end of the war so we will be reflecting on the war as well as looking at current operational capabilities.
