Plowman Craven
Due to the recent success in winning large projects in the Infrastructure sector, it is anticipated that the business will need to recruit a number of roles on short term contracts, based primarily in the Central London area.
Survey Technicians: to assist in supporting the Principal and Lead Surveyors in the team with basic surveying duties. Rail/Construction experience with associated passes would be an advantage but not essential as training can be given.
Survey Assistants: To assist in the movement and setting up of survey equipment and securing this equipment whilst on site and in transit. No experience necessary.
These contracts will run for 3 / 4 months and due to the nature of these roles, the shift pattern could be variable and involve a mixture of days and nights. Subject to contract, these projects are due to start at the beginning October and any person applying would need to be available for the duration of these projects and be aged 18 years or over.
Please note, that a daily rate will be applied and there will be no subsistence/travel or other expenses payments made. On successful completion of the projects, an attendance/performance related bonus may be applied.
We are also looking for a Project Administrator (Maternity cover) to help support the Project Managers. This role will involve administration work, taking calls from clients and dealing with day to day issues of resourcing of staff and arranging access to sites. Knowledge of MS Project would be advantageous and a strong level of Excel is a must.
